Important Information

A $500 per person deposit is required to secure your reservations. To secure reservations on a trip departing within 30 days, full payment is required at the time of your reservation. Final payment is due 15 days prior to departure and must be made by check or Cash.

Late bookings: Normally, our trips fill very quickly and we close our reservations 7 - 9 weeks prior to departure. Last minute bookings are subject to availability and may incur late fees.

If you cancel your trip, you must notify us in writing or by fax. We calculate your refund on the day we receive written cancellation. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of your cancellation.

Processing Fee: There is a non-refundable fee of $100 per person for cancellation or change in departure date. This fee reflects only the cost of administering a reservation and is not intended to be punitive in any way. We realize the majority of those who cancel their reservations do so out of necessity.

All COSTALBA EXP. trips are limited to no more than 15 passengers. All trips require a minimum number of participants to operate. We reserve the right to cancel any trip that does not reach a minimum level of participation. Decisions on canceling a trip or trip extension due to lack of participation will be made approximately 60 days prior to departure. If we cancel a trip, all of your deposits and payments are fully refundable.

The end of November through April is the "dry" season (usually less than two inches per month of rain), while May through October is wetter (about nine inches per month-this makes for great rafting!). Average daytime temperatures range in the 70s and 80s; nighttime temperatures can get down to the 60s.

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED.

All travel times are based on the best information and timetable available at the time the itinerary is confirmed. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due to delays or changes in schedules by airlines, hotel overbooking or defaults, sickness, strikes, war, riots, insurrections or other similar causes. All such losses or expenses will be the responsibility of the passenger.

Is not responsible for arranging and providing any act, error, omission, injury, to any person or property, loss, inconvenience, accident, delay, irregularity, upset, disappointment, weather physical or mental, or any avent which might be occasioned through or by reason of negligence, defect or default of any company and/or their employees, agents or servants.

Costalba expeditions SA, is not responsible for any delays in the departure of any flight or non-operation any flight hereunder due to reasons beyond its control.

Proof of citizenship is required while a passport is highly recommended and mandatory for children less than 16 years old.
